When to Book

Tourists must arrange any visit to Bhutan through a recognised travel agent. As Bhutan Green Travel (BGT) is one of the government approved tour operators since 2011, you can contact us for your Bhutan holidays package directly or through our business partners abroad.

We recommend planning for your trip at least six weeks in advance. Early bookings help us to secure your hotels and flights due to limited tourism infrastructures in the country. When you book a pre-paid trip with us it is deemed that you have read and accepted our booking terms and conditions alongside the general information outlined in the Tour Booking Form.

Booking a BGT trip can be done via one of the six ways:

  • Contact Us section on our website: https://www.bhutangreentravel.com/contact-us/
  • Call our representative in London, UK: (Phone) +44 (0)13 7263 5631 or (Mobile) +44 (0)78 5318 9421 or Our Main Office in Bhutan: (Phone) +975-2-333083 or (Mobile) +975-7600026
  • Email at info@bhutangreentravel.com
  • WhatsApp on +44 78 5318 9421 (UK) and +975-7600026 (Bhutan)
  • Book through one of our overseas agents
  • Download the Tour Booking Form at the bottom of Homepage (either WORD or PDF format)

Prior to booking, you should read our Simple Guide to planning and booking your dream trip with us.

Once you have finalised your itinerary and travel plans, we will send you a booking confirmation and invoice with our bank details for making a payment (deposit or in full). At the time of booking a minimum deposit of 10% of the land only plus full airfare (if flights arranged by us) required to secure your place. The final balance must be settled at least two months in advance in order for us to process your Bhutan tourist visa in time without which Tourism Council of Bhutan (National Tourist Board) will not process your online visa application. As soon as we receive your deposit/full payment, we will make all arrangements smoothly for your holiday with us.

When BGT receives your money or from our business partners abroad, the funds are further transferred into Government Account maintained by the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB). Therefore, any payments made to us remain fully protected with TCB until you have entered Bhutan, completed your holiday and departed the country. If for any reason your holiday gets cancelled or you decide to cancel it, then our government will release your money back to you directly and safely (normal cancellation charges will apply as appropriate).
